This year the United Nations International Women Day celebration is focused on getting women to “Break The Bias”.
The Coalition For Women Professionals a Pan African umbrella of working women from all works of life are kicking It off with a one day retreat with the sub-theme “We Move; African Women the Time is Now!!!”.
At this retreat, I would be a panelist alongside other amazing professional women and we would be talking about Societal Biases and Stereotypes against women, as well as approaches to living above these roadblocks.
The retreat will set the energy right for a year that has seen so many women make strong professional statements and take leaps.
